Adecco Workington is delighted to be supporting a well established and expanding business in the Carlisle area as they look to appoint a Field Sales Executive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced field sales professional who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers face to face and taking ownership of their own success. With uncapped commission on offer, this role provides excellent earning potential for someone who is motivated by results.
Responsibilities
- Typically be on the road 3 to 4 days per week across Cumbria and the Scottish Borders, meeting both new and existing customers, developing relationships and driving new business opportunities.
- Spend remaining time working from home or in the office, making outbound calls, following up leads and managing pipeline effectively.
- Hands on field sales role – confidence in face to face selling essential; engage with decision makers, build rapport quickly and close business.
- Use phone proactively to generate and progress opportunities.
- Focus on winning new business, growing territory and building long‑term client relationships.
- Manage full sales cycle from initial contact through to close, while maintaining existing accounts and identifying further opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM management and consistent pipeline activity.
Qualifications
- Strong, stable background in sales, ideally within a field based role.
- Demonstrated commitment, consistency and track record of delivering results over time.
- Target driven, well organised, confident working independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
