Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Workforce)

Sellick Partnership is recruiting for an experienced Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our private sector organisation, based in Newcastle. The role is permanent and offered on a 50% hybrid basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding of contingent workers, liaising closely with the Global Service Delivery team to ensure accurate system entry.
  • Ensure all contingent workers are engaged under arrangements set out by the firm.
  • Create and send contingent worker agreements and extension paperwork.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, Risk, Tax, Finance and Procurement regarding contingent worker engagement.
  • Advise hiring managers on IR35, complete the IR35 questionnaire and submit it to the Tax department for review, when required.
  • Monitor all agency workers and ensure compliance with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR).
  • Lead and coordinate the annual ex‑partner consultant process, liaising with partners to discuss extensions and advise on terms of engagement for new consultants.
  • Coordinate bi‑annual reviews with Tax, HR, and Finance of all contingent workers.
  • Maintain all contingent worker records, terms, conditions and renewal dates in the organisation’s software.
  • Continuously monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of contingent worker processes and suggest/implement improvements.
  • Conduct annual supplier audits, working with the procurement team to ensure contractual terms contain relevant protections around liability.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role or administrative/project‑based role, gained within a professional or corporate environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruitment law, IR35 and HMRC regulations.
  • Experience using HR systems.
