What You’ll Do
As an SME Key Account Manager, you’ll own and grow a portfolio of business customers, building strong relationships while driving revenue, retention, and profitability. The role is primarily phone-based, supported by occasional face‑to‑face meetings, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a target‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of SME accounts, meeting and exceeding volume and revenue targets
- Build strong client relationships through regular calls and structured account reviews
- Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet, cross‑sell services, and drive sustainable account growth
- Monitor pricing, performance, and profitability, taking proactive action where required
- Produce clear, actionable reports on portfolio performance and growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, Finance, and Marketing to deliver the best customer experience
- Handle customer queries and resolve issues quickly, professionally, and effectively
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records to support forecasting and reporting

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in account management or a similar customer‑focused, commercial role
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A proactive, target‑driven mindset with the ability to spot and act on opportunities
- Confidence working with data, performance metrics, and reports
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Nice to Have
- Experience within e‑commerce, logistics, or B2C environments
- Knowledge of pricing, profitability, or P&L management
- Experience handling challenging customers or complaints
