A Tier 1 Legal 500 residential property practice is looking to add a Residential Property Associate (circa 4 PQE) to its London team. Strong profiles outside of this range will be considered. The team advises UHNW individuals, families, property companies and private banks on a broad range of premium residential property transactions across prime central London and regional England. The work is sophisticated and fast‑paced, with a growing emphasis on complex second‑hand acquisitions, including listed buildings and bespoke title arrangements, alongside selective new‑build matters.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Drafting and negotiating transactional documentation, including contracts, transfers and ancillary agreements
  • Preparing detailed Reports on Title tailored to sophisticated private clients and advisers
  • Advising on and managing lettings, licences to assign, underlet and alter, and deeds of variation
  • Preparing and submitting SDLT forms and managing post‑completion registrations
  • Conducting and overseeing AML, client onboarding and compliance processes
  • Managing a busy, time‑sensitive caseload, with significant responsibility for day‑to‑day file control and client communication

This position suits a commercially minded associate who is highly organised, confident dealing directly with premium clients, and comfortable operating in a high‑quality residential practice.

Applicants should have strong residential property experience gained within a reputable Legal‑500 London firm.
