Group Parts Manager – Overview
Our client, a reputable multi‑site franchised car dealer group in the Vale of Glamorgan and Rhondda Cynon Taf region, is seeking a dedicated Group Parts Manager to oversee their dealerships in Llandow, Talbot Green and Rhondda.

The Group Parts Manager will be responsible for managing multiple dealer sites, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving parts sales growth.

Duties
- Lead and manage a team of three Parts Advisors across three dealership locations
- Cover holiday and sickness periods at all sites to ensure continuous operation
- Receive and accurately process parts orders, verifying requirements and dispatching promptly
- Handle customer parts enquiries with professionalism and courtesy in a busy trade environment as the Group Parts Manager
- Promote parts sales and ensure targets are achieved through proactive sales approaches
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures and health & safety standards
- Maintain stock levels, order accuracy and efficient stock control processes
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure optimal parts availability
- Utilise dealer management systems (Kerridge/ADP) and electronic parts catalogues efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience within a dealership parts department or motor factor environment, with managerial or supervisory exposure
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations and dealership procedures
- Live within a manageable distance of Llandow, Talbot Green or Rhondda for easy site access
- IT literate, with experience using Kerridge/ADP or similar dealer management systems
- Hold a full UK driving licence with minimal points
- Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious, target‑driven and able to motivate a team effectively
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a parts department highly desirable
