Transport Planner

Route Planner Transport Planner – based near Chelmsford outskirts. Free parking available; driver required.

The role will involve planning for a fleet of vehicles operating across multiple sites across the country. This is a busy, varied position.

The Role

• Plan and coordinate daily transport routes
• Allocate services, deliveries and collections effectively
• Support drivers with daily schedules and job allocations
• Manage daily transport activity to maintain exceptional customer service
• Resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently
• Work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure smooth service delivery

About You

• Experience in route planning, transport planning or a similar logistics role
• Strong IT skills including Word and Excel
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills
• Customer focused with a positive, adaptable approach
• Own transport is essential due to office location

• £33,000 per annum depending on experience
