Overview

We are looking for an experienced procurement and logistics professional to support the design of secure government buildings and estates. The role involves placing and tracking orders for a range of products, ensuring timely delivery and installation, and maintaining design room operations.

Responsibilities

  • Place and track orders for fabrics, furniture and accessories for a variety of government buildings.
  • Maintain delivery calendars and track shipments, producing status reports and resolving logistical issues such as late deliveries or missing items.
  • Respond to supplier queries and ensure accurate order specifications and invoicing.
  • Support the interior design team with sample management and design room maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build productive working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in procurement, order processing or project administration is desirable, preferably within an interior design environment.
  • Familiarity with project management tracking tools is preferred.

Benefits

Salary: £31,898 plus £5,000 (LLA) and excellent benefits. Additional benefits include good holiday entitlement, a Civil Service Pension, training and development opportunities, on‑site gym, nursery, café, restaurant and interest‑free loans on season tickets and bikes.
