About the Position
Administrator within the NHS Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service with a focus on outreach and screening for Afghan refugees who are veterans.
Responsibilities
- Support management of administrative function within the Office of Courage Veterans Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
- Prioritise and organise administration to meet service targets.
- Process referrals swiftly and accurately into the Service.
- Coordinate with triaging clinicians and liaise with patients, referrers, GP services and significant others of patients.
- Minute‑taking and maintain accurate records using Excel at an intermediate level.
- Work autonomously as well as part of a team, taking initiative to anticipate team needs.
- Maintain effective verbal and written communication with staff and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in administrative and ICT settings.
- Strong prioritising and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively.
- Experience minute‑taking and intermediate Excel skills.
- Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto is a requirement.
- Flexible and supportive of working in a fast‑paced environment.
