About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a Consequences Coordinator (Student Behaviour Administrator). You will support the Vice Principal and the Deep Support Team in managing the consequences procedures and all of the administration. Outwood Academy Carlton places students at the centre of everything it does, focusing on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, increased student attainment and social and emotional development. The successful candidate will have high aspirations for students, be committed and passionate about learning, and provide the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First’. The role is to be the gatekeeper of the consequences system, managing procedures to log and track data in order to provide accurate reports and information for the Senior Leadership Team. You will also manage student behaviour and communicate with Parents/Carers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the support provision for students requiring behavioural intervention, primarily through the management of the Consequences Room.
  • Contact parents in a timely manner to communicate behaviour, consequences, or exclusions.
  • Arrange, organise, and supervise appropriate work and/or specific skills development with individual students.
  • Liaise with parents, external agencies, education welfare, and the police regarding confidential and complex issues.
  • Maintain the Consequences Room environment and record all C4 and C5 behaviour incidents onto the MIS system.

Qualifications

  • Willingness and ability to enhance qualifications and training in post.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
