Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Post Delivery Inspection in a timely manner and to the Mallaghan Standard.
  • Carry out specific mechanical & electrical checks and tests.
  • Identifying defects or uncomplete work
  • Ensure all work carried out meets the required standards and quality.
  • Meeting set targets
  • Give feedback on any issues encountered with our current processes and documentation to ensure the correct information is being captured.
  • Liaising and building relationships with other production departments to drive quality within the business.
  • Participate with our drive for continuous improvement, helping carry out weekly tasks to better improve both your working area and the business.
  • In line with Mallaghan's Vision, Values and Behaviours, maintain harmonious working relationships with your colleagues, & management
  • Ensure compliance to all general site rules, regulations, policies & procedures.
  • Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality management system.
  • Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy works area.
  • Any other duties as required by management to suit business needs.
Your profile:
  • 5+ years previous mechanical/ hydraulic experience (Experience in a GSE environment is desirable)
  • 5+ years previous PDI experience is desirable
  • Some electrical knowledge
  • Ability to use computer systems such as office and app-based software.
  • Work alongside managers and operators to create a teamwork environment.
  • Ability to work together in a small team and on own initiative.
  • Proactive approach and "can-do" mindset.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to and embrace change.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work Mon- Thurs 07:00 -16:30 and Fri 07:00 to 12:30
