National Account Manager
This is an rare opportunity for an Area Sales Manager or Key Account Manager to join this global manufacturer and be trained to manage Key and National Accounts.
As a National Account Manager you will be managing a portfolio of construction trade and industrial accounts including trade distributors and a range of manufacturers. You’ll be tasked with developing relationships within large already existing accounts and identifying new opportunities whilst driving sustainable growth within existing accounts.
This is a worldwide, already established brand that manufactures products that have a wide range of applications across construction, industrial and manufacturing markets. They are growing their UK market share consistently and offer long-term career opportunities by real investment in your development – they will provide mentoring and support to help you grow.
What you will need:
- This will suit someone in an Area Sales or Key Account role looking for the next career step into a national position – they will give you full training. You could have been selling a construction product to merchants or an industrial product to manufacturers.
- Proven field sales experience working for a company in the industrial or construction sector (e.g. construction materials, trade tools, PPE, industrial consumables, or related categories) managing relationships with distributors and / or manufacturing end users.
- A strong track record of driving sales growth through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop distribution accounts.
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Organised, self-motivated and confident.
- Willingness to travel across the UK to meet customers and attend industry events.
- You will need to be living in the South of Oxford, South West or South Central region.
Package: Up to £50,000 DOE, Bonus £12,000, Hybrid Car, Company Pension Package, Private Healthcare
