Responsibilities:
- Proactively source new sales opportunities through cold calls, targeted email campaigns, and professional Shopify ecosystem networks.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incoming leads, product enquiries, and referrals, creating tailored proposals to address specific client needs.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and training sessions online.
- Leverage our extensive data lists to reach potential clients, driving significant commission opportunities.
- Maintain excellent relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and broader team to develop and execute strategic business development plans, optimising processes and sales targets.
- Represent the company at industry events, online webinars, and Shopify partner conferences.
- Act as the bridge between our customers and product development, gathering client feedback to continually enhance our offerings.
- Consistently track and manage your sales pipeline in our CRM system, meeting defined KPIs and targets.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in business development, preferably within the Shopify ecosystem or selling SaaS/apps.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with retail clients, ideally with existing Shopify app selling experience.
- Self-driven and passionate with a hunter mentality; motivated to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to tailor pitches to various audiences.
- Previous experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales productivity tools.
- Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
- Comfortable and experienced working remotely with the flexibility to travel occasionally as required.
