NQ Banking/Finance Solicitor

We are working with a top-tier Scottish law firm based in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or Aberdeen for a newly-qualified solicitor to join their Banking & Finance team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a Banking & Funds team advising a broad range of UK and international clients on complex banking and investment fund transactions. The role involves working on high-value, cross-border matters, supporting lenders, financial institutions and fund managers across a range of finance and funds structures.

The position includes assisting on transactional work across banking and funds mandates, collaborating closely with senior lawyers on structuring and execution, and contributing to the delivery of practical, commercially focused solutions for clients.

Essential Criteria:

• 0-2 years’ PQE;
• Banking/finance experience desirable;
• Strong academics required;
• Technically excellent;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
