Role Summary
You’ll be the technical lead for power supply development from concept through delivery, working on challenging designs that demand robust performance, excellent EMC behaviour, and high reliability. This is a hands‑on engineering role in a collaborative environment, ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and improving internal design practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead power supply design from initial concept through to production release.
- Select topologies, components, and architectures to meet performance, cost, and reliability targets.
- Perform detailed circuit design, simulation, analysis, and optimisation.
- Design and specify magnetics including transformers and inductors.
- Develop solutions that meet harsh EMC, environmental, shock, and vibration requirements.
- Conduct hands‑on debugging, verification, and validation of prototypes and production units.
- Produce and review PCB layouts with best practice for thermal, EMC, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, test, and supply chain teams.
- Support customer meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering tools, workflows, and methodologies.
