Role Description
Based in the UK, there is requirement within the CIMC Modular European Division for a BD role. This role will primarily focus on the UK construction market but will need to be flexible enough not to exclude other European locations.Working closely with the Regional Director, the role will include preparing bid documents, presenting proposals to clients (face to face and online) and liaison with the head office team in China.
- Assessment and qualification of enquiries. Are they suitable for our organisation and can our product provide advantage to the client?
- Creating Bid Documents by assessing client schemes and drawing on previous CIMC experience to demonstrate our value proposition.
- Face-to-face meetings with clients and careful relationship management throughout the bid process.
- Produce and submit reports focussed on the key sectors within the construction industry relevant to the organisation's strategic plan.
Qualifications
- Essential: Self-motivated, goal driven attitude; Good communicator both within the organisation and to external parties; Competent use of MS Office; Excellent presentation skills (both in person and with documents).
- Preferred: Educated to degree level in relevant field (i.e. construction, product design, marketing, etc.); Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role.
- Optional: Experience in some form of visual aid software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
