Senior Prudential Risk Analyst

Campion Pickworth are partnering with a UK mutual financial services organisation to appoint a Senior Financial Risk Analyst into their second line risk function.

This opportunity sits within a Financial Risk & Model Oversight team and offers broad exposure across capital, liquidity, funding, market risk and balance sheet management activities.

The successful candidate will play a key role in independently assessing and challenging financial risk frameworks, supporting regulatory oversight, and contributing to strategic decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing independent oversight and challenge across core financial risk disciplines

• Reviewing key regulatory submissions including ICAAP, ILAAP, stress testing and recovery planning activities

• Supporting governance and validation across financial risk and treasury models

• Challenging financial forecasts, planning assumptions and risk methodologies

• Producing clear risk insight and reporting for senior stakeholders and governance committees

• Monitoring regulatory, economic and market developments to identify emerging risks and industry best practice

• Building strong working relationships with Finance, Treasury and wider first line teams

Candidates should ideally demonstrate:

• Experience within Financial Risk, Treasury or Balance Sheet Risk in banking or financial services

• Knowledge of capital, liquidity, funding or market risk frameworks

• Exposure to ICAAP, ILAAP, stress testing and/or recovery & resolution planning

• Understanding of ALM and treasury activities within a regulated environment

• Experience working with financial models and model governance processes

• Awareness of the UK regulatory environment and broader macroeconomic drivers
