Investment Banking Analyst (Graduate) – FIG

We are currently working with a Global Investment Bank that is looking to hire a Graduate Analyst into its Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in London.

This is a standout opportunity for a high-calibre graduate to begin their career in a high-performing investment banking team, gaining hands-on exposure to M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory work across banks, asset managers, fintech and broader financial services.

As an Analyst, you will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions and pitches, developing strong technical skills and receiving excellent training within a globally recognised platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Support execution of M&A and capital markets transactions within the FIG sector
• Build and maintain financial models and valuation analysis (DCF, comps, transaction multiples)
• Prepare pitchbooks, presentations and marketing materials
• Conduct company and industry research across financial services subsectors
• Assist with due diligence processes and transaction documentation
• Work alongside senior team members to deliver high-quality client output

Requirements

• Recent graduate with an outstanding academic background
• Must have attended Oxford, Cambridge or LSE
• Strong analytical capability and genuine interest in Investment Banking / FIG
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Highly driven, commercial and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
