Event Operations Manager

B2B Events

London (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

£50,000 base + up to 20% bonus

The Opportunity

This isn’t a role where you “support events'' – You own them.

From concept through to delivery, you’ll take full operational responsibility for complex, large-scale experiences the kind where detail matters, timelines are tight, and expectations are high.

You’ll be trusted to run your projects properly.

Not micromanaged. Not second-guessed.

Just expected to deliver.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading end-to-end delivery of multiple live projects across different locations
  • Owning logistics: venues, suppliers, build, AV, catering, staffing, travel
  • Managing budgets, forecasts and cost control with real accountability
  • Acting as the operational lead onsite, solving problems in real time
  • Working closely with commercial teams to ensure delivery matches what’s been sold
  • Ensuring every stakeholder (internal + external) knows exactly what’s happening and when
  • Continuously improving how things are done, not just repeating the same playbook

This is a role for someone who likes control, structure, and seeing things come together under pressure.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering large, complex events or exhibitions end-to-end
  • Comfortable managing budgets north of £500k and high-value suppliers
  • Strong project manager: organised, structured, and calm under pressure
  • Someone who takes ownership (not someone who waits to be told)
  • Commercial awareness: you understand cost vs value, not just delivery
  • Confident communicator who can deal with senior stakeholders and suppliers alike
  • Happy to travel when required

You don’t need to be loud.

You do need to be reliable.
