Interim Programme Manager – Industrial/Employee Relations & Cultural Transformation
Rate: £800+ per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Flexible with regular travel to London required
Duration: 18 to 24 months

Overview
We are working with a large, complex organisation on a significant and long term industrial relations and cultural transformation programme. This is a senior interim role that requires someone who has operated at the very highest level in a heavily unionised environment and is ready to lead a programme of real scale and importance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the rebuilding and renegotiation of trade union relationships across multiple unions, including facility rights and the full company and trade dispute resolution process, some of which has not been reviewed in decades
- Drive a comprehensive cultural reset across the business covering diversity and inclusion, harassment, drug and alcohol and health and wellbeing policies
- Lead the broader people and cultural change programme to shift behaviours and ways of working across the organisation
- Act as the senior programme lead across all three workstreams, managing stakeholders at the most senior level
Required Experience
- Significant experience leading large scale industrial relations programmes within a large, complex and heavily unionised environment
- Strong background across ER, IR, HR change or HR transformation
- Proven track record of managing and renegotiating trade union agreements at a senior level
- Experience of leading cultural change programmes at scale
- Resilient, agile and commercially aware with a high EQ and the ability to bring very different groups of people with them through complex change
- Having worked within a trade union at some point in your career would be a real bonus
