Senior C# / React Developer - Energy Trading - London

Working for a major energy trader (Oil, Power, Gas, Renewables) we are recruiting a Senior C# / React Developer with a background in financial services / trading systems / trading tools.

The Role

As a member of a skilled global team of software engineers, you will play a role in developing new trading tool / solutions. The customers are Traders, Analysts, Researchers and Data Scientists.

Essential Skills:

• 3 -5 years of experience working with C# and related .NET technologies
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• 2 - 3 years commercial experience with React
• Experience working in an agile scrum development model
• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science or Maths

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in GraphQL or gRPC
• Experience in Reactive Extensions (RX)
• Previous experience in the commodities or finance industry (hedge fund, investment banking, private banking, fintech)
