A leading UK law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Paralegal into its Real Estate team in London.


This is an excellent opportunity for a residential property paralegal looking to gain exposure to a broad range of high-quality real estate work, including residential conveyancing, lease extensions, and portfolio property matters.


The Role:

• Managing a caseload of residential property matters including sales and purchases

• Assisting with residential lease extensions acting for both landlords and tenants

• Reviewing and reporting on title documentation

• Preparing reports on title and key transaction documents

• Completing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications

• Handling client enquiries and supporting day-to-day file management

• Providing clients with regular progress reports and monthly invoicing updates

• Managing multiple deadlines across a varied caseload

• Supporting a partner directly while contributing to the wider Real Estate team

• Maintaining accurate electronic and hard-copy files in line with firm procedures and compliance standards


About You:

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential property paralegal role

• Experience handling conveyancing transactions and lease extension matters

• Strong drafting, organisational and administrative skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines

• Strong communication and client management skills

• Ability to work independently while supporting senior stakeholders

• Commercially aware with a proactive and professional approach

• Strong academic background, ideally with a 2:1 degree

• Experience working with residential development or housing sector clients would be advantageous
