This is a senior leadership role for a quality-focused professional who lives and breathes standards, governance and continuous improvement within care home settings.
The Role
- Provide strategic and operational oversight of quality and compliance across a portfolio of elderly care homes
- Lead on CQC readiness, inspection preparation and post-inspection action planning
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across clinical governance, safeguarding and risk management
- Support Home Managers and senior teams to embed robust audit and quality assurance frameworks
- Identify underperforming services and implement structured turnaround plans
- Ensure best practice, safe care delivery and regulatory compliance at all times
- Work closely with operational leadership to align quality with commercial sustainability
About You
- Significant senior-level quality leadership experience within elderly care homes – essential
- Strong working knowledge of the CQC framework and regulatory standards
- Proven track record improving and sustaining CQC ratings
- Experienced supporting ‘Requires Improvement’ or challenged services
- Confident, visible leader with the ability to influence at board and operational level
- Quality-driven, analytical and commercially aware
