ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Solution Architect at Gravity Media UK, you will act as the lead technical authority throughout the entire project lifecycle – from initial client enquiry and proposal response through to successful on‑site delivery. Reporting to the Head of Technology – SI and working closely with the Head of Flypack, you will bridge technical, commercial and operational requirements to design and deliver complex broadcast solutions.

  • Provide high‑quality technical sales support, contributing to bids, proposals and RFP responses.
  • Design broadcast systems that are fully RFP‑compliant and aligned to Gravity Media’s wider technology strategy.
  • Act as the primary technology contact for clients once a project is awarded, refining system designs and producing detailed technical documentation, including drawings.
  • Fulfil the Engineer in Charge (EIC) role for projects you have designed and/or for which you hold key client technology relationships, ensuring on‑site delivery meets agreed technical standards.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of technology deployments across key projects and Gravity Media’s local and worldwide equipment inventory.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior technology contacts across the UK client base.
  • Prepare, manage and control capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets for the solutions you design.

  • Have extensive experience within the broadcast and media technology industry, including hands‑on engineering and delivery of large‑scale, mission‑critical technical projects.
  • Possess a strong understanding of advanced broadcast technologies and system architectures.
  • Are highly capable of producing clear, concise and accurate technical documentation and drawings.
  • Excel at building trusted relationships with clients, senior stakeholders and cross‑functional internal teams, and are confident operating as a technical leader.
  • Are passionate about broadcasting and advancing the technological standards of the business.
