Site Quality Director | Skipton (site based) | Pharma
At Dechra, we’re growing — and we’re looking for a Site Quality Director to take full ownership of Quality across our Skipton manufacturing site.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll oversee QA, QC, and QP functions, ensuring world‑class quality systems and compliance across UK, EU, and FDA cGMP environments — while shaping the future of quality on site.

You’ll:
- Define and deliver the site Quality strategy
- Lead regulatory interactions and host inspections (FDA, VMD)
- Drive a strong quality culture and continuous improvement mindset
- Influence senior stakeholders across manufacturing, supply, and leadership
- Build and develop a high‑performing Quality team for the future
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the end-to-end Quality function across the site
- Driving compliance, risk management, and performance improvement
- Acting as the key interface with regulators, customers, and suppliers
- Ensuring robust quality systems, audits, and governance frameworks
- Supporting new product introduction and strategic site initiatives
- Championing quality excellence and cross‑functional collaboration
What we’re looking for
You’re an experienced pharmaceutical Quality leader who can balance technical depth with strategic thinking.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience across Pharma GMP‑regulated environments (UK/EU/FDA)
- A track record of leading QA, QC or site‑wide Quality functions
- Experience hosting regulatory inspections and audits
- Deep understanding of quality systems, compliance, and risk management
- The ability to influence, lead, and drive cultural change
