We are seeking a delivery-focused Data Leader to take ownership of the end-to-end execution of a major data platform transformation within a leading specialist insurer in the London Market.
This role sits firmly within technology—not a strategy or pure analytics position.
You’ll lead the rollout of a new cloud-based data platform (Databricks / Azure / Lakehouse), driving execution across a complex, stakeholder-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own delivery of a large-scale data platform implementation (lakehouse / data warehouse)
- Lead on execution, integration, and rollout of the new data environment
- Manage programme delivery, timelines, budgets, and risks
- Lead a team of global/offshore teams
- Act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring outcomes are delivered
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale data platform / transformation programmes
- Strong technical background in data engineering, platforms, or architecture
- Strong stakeholder management — able to challenge, influence, and drive decisions
- Experience in Insurance is essential
