About the Role
We are a rapidly growing fire and security company looking for skilled and self-motivated engineers. We have a number of prestigious customers within the Heritage, Commercial & Prison sectors.
We are currently recruiting for multiple roles within our growing company, we are looking for experienced and motivated Fire & Security Installation Engineers & Fire & Security Service Engineers to join our team. The successful candidate/s will be responsible for the installation, basic configuration of fire and security systems, servicing, maintenance and fault finding across a variety of customer sites, primarily within London.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on technical experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and expanding organisation using enterprise level systems.
Key responsibilities
- Installation of fire and security systems
- Installing devices such as CCTV cameras, intruder alarm, access control and fire equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem solving skills
- Carrying out basic system commissioning and testing
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations
- Communicating effectively with clients and site teams
- Completing accurate documentation and reporting
- ECS Card (White or Gold Card for FESS) –Essential
- Experience installing and commissioning fire and/or security systems –Essential
- (This can include Security or Fire installation or basic system commissioning – enterprise-level experience not required)
- Must be located within the M25, or along the M11 or M4 corridors within reasonable travel distance –Essential
