Security Engineer

Company: TRIA
Apply for the Security Engineer
Location: London
Job Description:

We’re looking for a Cloud SecOps Engineer to help strengthen and scale cloud security across a modern AWS and Azure environment.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll own and evolve key security controls, improve how threats are detected and responded to, and help define how cloud security is delivered across critical systems. You’ll play a key part in a wider transformation programme, shaping how security is embedded into cloud‑first engineering.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build and improve secure, scalable cloud security workflows using Infrastructure as Code and modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Define and manage IAM, network security, and cloud configuration controls across AWS and Azure
  • Enhance threat detection and response capabilities, working on real‑world security incidents and investigations
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, and business teams to embed security into new and existing services
  • Continuously improve security tooling, automation, and operational processes
  • Help mature the overall Security Operations capability, making security faster, more reliable, and more predictable

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in cloud security (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Hands‑on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep)
  • Solid understanding of IAM, networking, and security controls in cloud environments
  • Experience with security monitoring, detection, and incident response
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and secure software delivery practices
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams

Why this role?

  • High impact: directly shape how cloud security is delivered across business‑critical systems
  • Modern environment: work with current tooling, cloud platforms, and automation practices
  • Transformation exposure: be part of a large‑scale programme improving how security operates end‑to‑end
  • Collaborative culture: work closely with engineering and architecture, not in isolation
