We are currently seeking anInfrastructure Finance Lawyer to work with Axiom’s clients on major infrastructure and project finance transactions. In this role, you will provide strategic legal advice, draft and negotiate financing documentation, and manage multi‑jurisdictional deals. This is an opportunity to collaborate with top‑tier organizations and deliver pragmatic solutions for high‑profile projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on infrastructure finance and project finance transactions, including the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of complex financing arrangements for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Draft, negotiate, and review key financing documentation including loan agreements, LMA‑based facility agreements, security documentation, inter‑creditor agreements, and ancillary documents.
- Support transactions across sectors such as energy (including renewables and power plants), transportation (roads, rail, airports), utilities, and digital infrastructure.
- Manage domestic and cross‑border transactions, coordinating with lenders, developers, funding parties, and external counsel.
- Conduct legal analysis and due diligence, reviewing concession agreements and project documentation to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer eligible to practice in the UK with the right to work in the UK.
- Demonstrated experience advising on project finance and infrastructure finance transactions, including large‑scale infrastructure developments.
- Experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting project financing arrangements, including LMA documentation, concession agreements, and PFI/PPP structures.
- Experience gained at leading law firms within project finance or infrastructure finance teams; in‑house or secondment experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong commercial awareness, excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to deliver pragmatic, business‑focused legal solutions.
