Senior Project Manager (6 months FTC)

Location: London, United Kingdom (2-3 days from our London HQ)

About the Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will oversee complex projects, ensuring seamless project and product outcomes. You’ll work closely with account leads and other stakeholders, manage resources, conduct project reviews, maintain timelines, and contribute to training and professional development of your project management team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Allocate and monitor on-site resources, building strong relationships with discipline leads to assign appropriate team members per brief.
  • Assist predictions of resource requirements and manage margins.
  • Identify and resolve potential resource conflicts or escalation.
  • Maintain skill‑set matrix for staff in designated area/on-site.
  • Manage projects from start to finish with clear communication on milestones, targets, goals, and deadlines.
  • Continuously assess working methods and processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
  • Oversee production, QC, ingestion, and output of assets within the delivery process.
  • QC all deliverables before client delivery.
  • Understand client feedback and clarify if needed.
  • Develop best processes for data gathering and storage.
  • Liaise closely with account leads to follow best practice.
  • Understand client businesses and communication objectives.
  • Host clear, efficient project meetings for all stages, using a methodology.
  • (If applicable) Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers.

What You Need To Be Great In This Role

  • 8+ years experience managing campaigns in an advertising agency, with knowledge of social, digital, and moving image.
  • Ability to manage heavy workload under pressure with effective prioritisation and planning.
  • Strong communication skills tailored to recipients including clients.
  • Track record of executing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Experience leveraging Social/Digital/Film/Video Production/Gen AI expertise.
  • Experience on social toolkits and social strategy projects.
  • Budget management and scheduling experience.
  • Resource and production services sourcing experience.
  • Experience managing shoot production (bonus).
  • Working with AI (Pencil) or strong aspirations to use Gen AI in projects.
  • Financial acumen and ability to deliver on financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of Pencil Pro.
  • Positive, can‑do outlook, willing to apply past experience to each project.
  • Natural leader able to inspire, motivate, and guide project teams.
  • Willingness to share experience and collaborate with global network.
  • Unafraid to ask questions and identify/ manage production risk.
  • Initiative and proactive approach.
  • Persuasion and negotiation skills to reach best outcomes for the agency and clients.
