Up to £29,200 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Full‑time

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of care and support to service users.
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to develop and review support plans.
  • Supervise, mentor and manage the staff team.
  • Ensure services remain person‑centred and meet the needs and preferences of individuals.
  • Develop structured programmes of communication, personalised support and positive behaviour management.
  • Manage and deploy staff to meet the needs of service users.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years’ previous experience working with people with complex needs, learning disabilities and autism.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of learning disability/autism practice.
  • Relevant social care qualification (RNLD, BASW, DipSW Diploma Level 5).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands‑on approach, role model and mentor for staff.
  • Clean and valid driving licence with access to a vehicle.
