Role: Cloud Engineer and Team Coordinator

Reporting to the Managing Director you will provide day to day support of all our clients cloud systems and security. You will work closely with the Support colleagues ensuring that service quality is delivered and that continuous service improvement is a key focus.
What responsibilities will you have?
Operations
- Create scripts to improve cloud deployment and reporting mainly in sharepoint.
- Be a dedicated support point for detailed firewall questions.
- Ensure good working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools across the team.
- Work effectively with external suppliers who are used to deliver elements of our service
Customer Service
- Build good trust based relationships with key customers & customer groups when providing support needs. Ensure that two-way feedback is developed relating to our products and services, current customer priorities, challenges and requirements.
- Ensure that a strong customer service ethos is provided.
- Update Security and Network information to accurately account for changes in infrastructure
- Test and rollout updates to firewalls and routers.
- You will be responsible for coordinating the team of Senior engineers to ensure that they have the equipment they need to carry out jobs.
- Deal with the management tasks assocaited with running a busy MSP.
- Keep up to date with new product roll outs and pricing changes and ensure we capture the changes in our client billing.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of a leading firewall vendor (FortiGate ideal)
- Working knowledge and hardware troubleshooting experience of Windows environments.
- O365 conditional access and share point setup.
- Knowledge of Power BI an advantage.
- Demonstrate that you have been able to work on your own and deliver on time technical tasks.
- Demonstrate coordination skills where you have worked with a number of people to deliver a solution.
What academic qualifications do you need?
A-Level, HND level of qualification so that both verbal and written communication is at a high level.
Quality experience on a support helpdesk with a variety of technologies (MSP ideal).
Certifications or demonstration that you have shown the initiative to broaden your horizon of technical knowledge.
Standard work hours of 40 hours a week between core hours of 09:00 to 17:30. With a 4 week rotate to cover 8.00 start and Saturday emergency cover for key few clients. Office based. A level of travel and working from other customer or client locations may be required from time to time.
