As the founding backend engineer, you will architect and build a mission‑critical platform from the ground up using Python and FastAPI. You will own the entire server side, designing scalable APIs and robust infrastructure that automates complex administrative workflows for childcare providers, replacing legacy systems with modern AI‑driven solutions.

• Own the entire deployment pipeline and observability stack on AWS, ensuring high reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate

• 4+ years of professional experience building production‑grade APIs in Python with deep SQL knowledge.
• Proven track record of owning production services end‑to‑end, including deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• A startup‑ready mindset characterized by comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and high technical ownership.
