Job Summary

We are partnered with an energy trading client and are looking for a Backend Developer with strong Node.js experience to help build an event‑driven, AI‑enabled platform.

Responsibilities

• Scope, build, and deploy the Enterprise Utilities Platform.
• Release and maintain the AI tooling system for the business, ensuring scalable event‑driven architecture.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate predictive pricing calculations and AI tooling across the trading platform.
• Work closely with stakeholders and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement event‑driven architecture, idempotency, and observability best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Node.js.
• Deep understanding of event‑driven architecture, idempotency, observability, and scalability.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and an interest in integrating AI into trading solutions.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑impact environments.
• Knowledge of energy trading is desirable but not required.
