About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dedicated and forward-thinking Reporting Services (RS) Team at York College.

The RS Team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, data-driven reporting across the College, supporting strategic decision-making and operational performance. You will work with key systems such as ProMonitor and Unit-e, using your knowledge of relational databases and programming to manage, develop, and enhance our reporting solutions.

This is a varied and engaging role where you will take the lead on developing and improving reporting systems to meet the College’s evolving business needs. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across departments, transforming complex data into meaningful insights that drive real impact.

We offer hybrid working options, giving you flexibility while remaining connected to a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Whilst a full-time appointment is preferential, we are willing to consider this role on a part-time basis (minimum of 30 hours / 4 days per week). Please make clear on your application form, in the supporting evidence section, the number of hours you would prefer.

About the person

You are an experienced data professional with a strong background in developing, implementing, and troubleshooting data systems. You are highly numerate, with the ability to work quickly and accurately, and you take pride in delivering high-quality outputs.

You’ll be a confident communicator, able to translate complex data into clear insights, and committed to providing an excellent service to colleagues across the organisation.
