Salary: £35,757 – £44,696 per annum dependent on experience

We are looking for an Insight Analyst to support the Insight Manager in delivering high‑quality, data‑driven insights through quantitative and qualitative research. This role will help improve key business performance measures and customer outcomes, providing insight that informs both strategic and operational decision‑making across Moat.
As an Insight Analyst, you will work closely with colleagues across the transformation, customer and data teams to ensure insight and customer voice shape service design and improvement activity.
You will analyse a wide range of internal and external data, manage customer feedback systems and surveys, and translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical and senior audiences. This is a varied and analytical role, ideal for someone who enjoys using data to tell a compelling story and influence positive change.

We’re seeking a highly analytical, curious and motivated individual with strong technical skills and a passion for using insight to improve customer experience and business performance. You will be comfortable working with complex data, confident explaining findings to a range of audiences, and collaborative in your approach to working across teams.
Essential
- Degree‑level education with a strong statistical element or professional equivalent (e.g. MRS Advanced Certificate)
- Strong understanding of quantitative research methods and appropriate statistical analysis techniques
- Practical experience using SPSS or equivalent software (e.g. R, SAS, STATA) to conduct analysis and reporting
- Experience applying statistical models to real‑world business problems
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical and senior audiences
- Experience of project management and client or stakeholder liaison
