Operational Oversight Analyst – About the Role
As part of the Operational Oversight team, you will support the firm's control framework to meet Conduct Risk & Client Assets and Money (CASS) obligations, manage regulatory breaches, conduct reviews, support audits, and provide training to business areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete and analyze regulatory breaches, capture root causes, preventative steps, and assess impacts.
- Conduct CASS and Conduct Governance Reviews to identify risks and recommend control improvements.
- Coordinate with business units to close actions from first‑line governance reviews.
- Review market‑abuse alerts in line with MAR and ensure sanctions screening is completed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player, self‑motivated, and driven to succeed.
- Knowledge of UK regulations and the FCA Handbook.
- Familiarity with operational processes within Financial Services.
- Innovative, initiative‑seeking, and able to prioritize under deadline pressure.
- Strong analytical skills.
