The Role

You’ll be working with a varied portfolio of clients, from sole traders and partnerships to small and medium-sized limited companies across a range of industries.

• Preparing year-end accounts
• Management accounts preparation
• VAT returns and bookkeeping duties
• Assisting with tax computations
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and build lasting relationships
• Supporting senior staff with ad hoc projects
• Working with cloud-based software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage

Requirements

• AAT qualified, or part-qualified ACA / ACCA
• Previous experience in a UK practice setting is essential
• Comfortable preparing, or reviewing, accounts and VAT returns
• Confident communicating directly with clients
• A team player with a proactive attitude
• Eager to continue studying and progressing
