Role Overview
We are seeking a fully qualified Senior Analyst to join our Finance Partnering & Reporting and Analytics team. This role sits at the intersection of financial planning and commercial decision making with responsibility for delivering high quality financial insight, performance analysis and forward‑looking thinking.
You will be part of a team that spans both Financial Planning & Analysis and Finance Business Partnering. The team works collectively to deliver planning, performance insight and commercial decision support across the business.
This role is positioned at CUK8 level within our organisation and is available on a full‑time permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of financial plans ensuring alignment with commercial priorities.
- Own financial insight across key areas, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Build a strong understanding of performance drivers and provide forward‑looking analysis of risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to influence and shape decisions.
- Evaluate initiatives and investments, ensuring financial rigour and a link to expected outcomes.
- Drive improvements in how financial information is produced and interpreted.
- Contribute to capital planning, supplier contract agreements and other business performance agendas.
Qualifications & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Hands‑on experience in financial planning, performance analysis and/or business partnering.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems (Oracle ERP/EPM and Power BI desirable).
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of how financial performance links to operational and business drivers.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across the business, with the ability to support and appropriately challenge.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a focus on ownership, problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and modelling capability with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Experience in a complex, multi‑dimensional or consumer‑facing business is advantageous.
