The Role
This role offers exposure to an exceptional breadth of high-impact commercial and strategic projects, placing finance at the centre of the organisation’s evolution. It will mean periods of intensity & complexity, and we need individual that will be energised by these challenges, and they are an attraction component over a detraction.
Alongside adding value through these high-profile projects, we need a Finance Manager that is passionate about delivering a robust BAU finance function given it's pivotal importance as the engine & operations room to the business. This includes managing (work allocation, oversight, deadlines) and developing (coaching, training) of part qualified & transactional finance staff.
This role could be an amazing springboard for those with aspirations to be come financial leadership (FD/CFO) due to it's variety, autonomy, exposure, ability to add "true value" & fantastic mentorship available from the CFO & Financial Controller.

- Customer, sector & geographic segmentation & analysis
- Finance business partnering and FP&A
- International expansion (accountancy standards, transaction complexity)
- Continuous & process improvement
BAU Finance
- Statutory & management accounting
- Robust month and year-end close
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Balance sheet integrity
- Assisting with VAT & taxation returns
- Overseeing transactional finance – AP, AR, credit control
