Working with an impressive client roster which includes banks, debt funds, direct lenders, private equity sponsors and financial institutions, you will handle market structures such as senior facilities, first-out, second lien, unitranche and TLB facilities.

What You'll Do:

Advising clients on a variety of transactions, with a focus on leveraged and acquisition finance. You will work in a collegiate and supportive environment and can expect a good variety of work and high quality of training.

Working as part of a team including assisting with the supervision of junior lawyers’ work and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team.

This is a high performing, cohesive and busy team with a strong reputation for providing Managing Associates with high levels of responsibility within a supportive and stretching environment and therefore you can expect to take a leading role.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE experience in leveraged finance and leading on private equity-backed transactions.
  • Experience acting on UK and or European mid-market financings.
  • Familiarity with managing transactions, in particular facility agreements, term sheets, commitment papers and intercreditor arrangements on leveraged finance transactions.
  • Initiative and proactive approach with strong service orientation – a "client first" culture.
  • Ability to work well and collegially in a team.
  • Commerciality and demonstrable business development experience.
