Location: Carpenters Practice | Salary: Up to £60,000 | Hours: 22.5 hrs per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

Job Description

Temporary maternity cover position at Operose Health. The pharmacist will prescribe, conduct online and telephone triage, manage minor illnesses, and provide long‑term care advice. The role requires working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe medication and manage treatment plans.
• Conduct online and telephone clinical triage.
• Manage minor illnesses and deliver long‑term care advice.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, expert care and drive innovation.

Ideal Candidate

• Undergraduate degree in pharmacy, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Independent prescribing qualification.
• Ability to apply effective clinical judgement in prioritisation and decision‑making.
• Previous general practice experience desirable.

Package

• Annual salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience).

Person Specification

• Undergraduate degree in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
