Position: Family Support Practitioner

Location: Ollerton/Boughton Family Hub, New Ollerton, NG22 9TH and Sherwood Family Hub, Clipstone, NG19 0LL.

Salary: £26,824 – £29,540 per annum.

Type of Vacancy: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week). Work pattern: Office‑based.

In This Rewarding Role, You Will

  • Deliver and review a variety of family support services, including one‑to‑one support and evidence‑based parenting programmes.
  • Conduct structured family assessments and create support plans to address the unique needs of families.
  • Act as the lead professional for families requiring additional support, coordinating a tailored package of services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work flexibly across various venues, including family homes and community settings.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or an equivalent qualification.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working with children and families, demonstrating your commitment to their well‑being.
  • Knowledge of child development, safeguarding practices, and the importance of early intervention.

  • Excellent communication skills, including report writing and assessment abilities.
