We are looking for an authentic and driven Full Time Maintenance Team Leader to join Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa and provide heartfelt human connections to our guests.
As a Maintenance Team Leader you’ll be 100% you, bring authentic personality, lead confidently, and spark joy using every tool to craft memorable experiences.
We’re looking for a hands‑on motivated leader to help deliver an exceptional guest experience from behind the scenes.
From guest rooms and public areas to plant equipment, you’ll lead daily maintenance operations, support your team, and ensure safety, efficiency, and high standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the day‑to‑day maintenance operation
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the hotel
- Keep guest areas, bedrooms, and facilities in top condition
- Support compliance, health & safety, and preventative maintenance programmes
- Work closely with all departments to respond quickly to operational needs
- Motivate, coach, and develop the engineering team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous maintenance or engineering experience
- Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive approach
- Someone who takes pride in high standards and teamwork
- Hotel experience is a bonus, but attitude is everything
