The main purpose of the position will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with JLL's PPM and task schedules.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesTechnical Maintenance Activities• General CarpentryFire door maintenance and repairWeekly fire alarm testingWeekly tap flushingAHU Cleaning & ServicingBasic plumbing and drainage repairsPatch repairs to wall and floor tiling, carpets, lino & screedsSuspended ceiling repairsShelving/racking installation and repairsLock changes/repairsPainting & DecoratingOperational Excellence• Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional mannerWork within the site's shift pattern requirementsCarry out all works requested in a professional and proactive mannerUndertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management teamManage JLL sub-contractors whilst working on siteEscalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager as soon as possible once noticedReporting & Communication• Production of technical and situational reports as requiredWrite activity reports in line with JLL procedures accurately and timelyAlways communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clientsProvide accurate time sheet information weekly and on timeAttend team meetings/briefings as requestedTechnology & Compliance• Proactively use the technology systems provided so that JLL can be always compliant with its contractual obligationsProactively assist the management team to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information where extra works are identifiedEnsure that JLL is always presented in a good lightEmergency Support• Provide first line out of hours call out for the siteHealth, Safety & Environmental• Understand and be aware of the requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation and be equally aware of your own roles and responsibilities within JLLEnsure that all materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislationActively participate in the health and safety processes required under JLL policies and procedures including, but not limited to, accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments and auditingCo-operate with JLL to allow it to fulfil its moral and legal duties and obligationsUndertake any other reasonable instruction from the Contract Manager or Line Managers(Additional training will be provided as necessary)Essential Qualifications & ExperienceTechnical Qualifications• Fabric Engineer apprenticeship/ Carpentry & Joinery qualificationsProven post apprenticeship practical experiencePersonal Skills• Good communication & interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staffCommitment to providing a high-quality service to our customerWilling to work flexibly and as a team memberAbility to work overtime as requiredProactive in achieving the highest standard of operationGood IT and report writing skillsAbility to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraintsIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements below.
