Your new role

As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer based in Nottingham, you'll play a key role in delivering mechanical building services design across a range of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing detailed mechanical designs and specifications
  • Delivering projects to agreed timelines, budgets and technical standards
  • Supporting the development of cost-effective engineering solutions
  • Attending client meetings and contributing to project briefs
  • Reviewing tenders and preparing technical reports
  • Conducting site inspections and producing condition reports
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and IES

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in mechanical design within building services
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit (Amtech knowledge beneficial)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC)
