We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor / Lead Engineer to join a well-established building services provider covering a portfolio across Westminster, including libraries, offices, and GP surgeries.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on engineer ready to step into a leadership role, or an experienced supervisor looking for a stable position with strong earning potential and career progression.
Role
As a Mechanical Supervisor / Lead Engineer, you will oversee day‑to‑day engineering operations across multiple sites, ensuring all mechanical systems are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting a team of engineers
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Fault finding and repairs on mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, plant, etc.)
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
- Liaising with clients and managing subcontractors
- Assisting with scheduling and allocation of works
Package & Benefits

- Call‑out rota: 1 in 6 (£140 per week)

Requirements
- Strong mechanical background (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
- Experience in a supervisory or lead role (or ready to step up)
- Knowledge of building services within commercial/public sector environments
- Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
