Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Maintenance

Job Type: Permanent (Monday to Friday)

Week: 38-hour week

Industry: Global Manufacturer – general manufacturing environment with process, conversion and packaging

Our client is a large Global manufacturer with a global footprint. It is an established site with a high‑performing engineering team. Staff retention is excellent. Training, development, and support are provided on a manufacturing site. You will help the site make high‑quality processed products.

Key Responsibilities – Electrical Engineer – Maintenance

  • Your new challenge will be providing effective and efficient planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance to minimise losses to production.
  • Leading electrical and instrumentation, repair, and working with a CMMS.
  • Diagnosis, resolution, and elimination of root causes of electrical engineering faults.
  • Design, trial, and implementation of minor equipment modifications in support of increased performance.
  • Completion of all scheduled, planned corrective, reactive and improvement maintenance as allocated.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of allocated annual equipment overhauls.

Qualifications & Requirements – Electrical Engineer – Maintenance

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline in maintenance engineering.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • PLC experience preferred.
  • A proactive approach to fault finding, a commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.
