The Role
This is a senior, experienced BASE24-eps Tester role to provide end to end testing across payment system with a focus on modernizing and evolving BASE24 platform.
In this role, you will act as BASE24-eps Tester, Configuring BASE24-eps system based on the requirements, Test Plan preparation & execution. Perform ST/SIT/Regression.
Your responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end Testing for BASE24-eps system.
- Understand the Customer requirements & Change and Prepare the Test Plan.
- End to end ST/SIT Plan with execution strategy which includes all the changes as well as the BAU testing, prepare test scripts from scratch for base24 functionality, regression testing, performance testing.
- Prepare & Walkthrough the TPOR. Defect management.
- Collaborating with Developer & cross-functional teams whenever necessary.
- Basic understating of BASE24-classic components, Bridge Concept for the Migration Project.
- Ensure the compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. IS08593,PSD2 etc)
Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Strong experience and solid understanding of BASE24-eps configurations and transaction processing flows.
- Experience working on large-scale payment switch system (ATM, POS , SWITCH)
- Deep Knowledge of :
- IS08583 messaging (VISA/LINK), Journals, TDEs, Tokens, STM/PSTM.
- BASE24-eps system configuration and control, Layers, Integrated Server, SAF/Context Manager, Database Tables.
- PATHWAY, ENFORM, PERUSE, BATCHCOM, TACL, Enscribe, XPNET/NCPCOM.
Experience in:
- ST/SIT, Regression Suit, Verifications & Validations.
Strong understanding of :
- BASE24-eps Configurations (Message Delivery, Prefix, Router, Authorization, HISO/BICI, Acquirer, Issuer, Process Control).
- Web Services configuration and controls
- Solid understanding of HSM integration ,key management, PIN block formats and cryptography in a payment context.
- Hands on experience with payment security standards: PCI DSS,3-D Secure, tokenization and EMV.
- Very strong hands‑on delivery credentials
- A track record of owning and performing end to end testing.
- The confidence to operate at pace with senior visibility and scrutiny
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments
- Hands‑on involvement in BASE24-classic to BASE24‑eps migration project.
