I’m currently partnering with a client who is looking to hire an experienced Senior Data Consultant to support the delivery of enterprise-grade data products across a large-scale data transformation programme.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of business, data architecture, and engineering – helping shape high-quality, reusable data assets that drive real business value.
- Lead source-to-target mapping and end-to-end data lineage activities
- Define and maintain data quality rules and KPI frameworks
- Design facts, dimensions, and semantic models with architects and engineers
- Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders
- Support UAT, validation, and release of data products
- Drive clarity across ambiguous requirements and challenge where needed
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years working across data platforms, analytics, or data product environments
- Strong experience with data lineage, semantic modelling, facts & dimensions
- Solid understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Strong SQL and/or advanced Excel skills
- Experience engaging with both business and technical teams
Nice to have
- Experience with Lakehouse architectures or API-backed data products
- Exposure to data governance operating models and stewardship frameworks
This role would suit someone proactive, commercially minded, and confident driving conversations independently while bridging the gap between business and technology.
