Leading International Law Firm | Construction & Projects Associate | London
A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Construction & Projects Associate to join its highly regarded Projects, Energy & Infrastructure team in London.
This is a rare opportunity to work across both non-contentious construction and projects matters within a collaborative, partner-led team advising on some of the most significant energy transition and infrastructure developments in the UK and internationally.
The practice has a strong focus on sectors including:
- Hydrogen, carbon capture and nuclear
- Battery storage, solar and onshore wind
- Energy from waste and district heating
- LNG and mining projects
- Major commercial real estate developments across mixed-use, industrial, hospitality, retail, PBSA, BTR and high-end residential sectors
The successful candidate will work closely with senior lawyers across a broad range of domestic and cross-border matters, supporting clients through the full lifecycle of projects from procurement and development through to refinancing, asset management and disposals.
Key requirements:
- UK-qualified solicitor or overseas-qualified lawyer from a comparable common law jurisdiction
- Mid-level PQE gained within a strong private practice environment
- Solid non-contentious construction experience, particularly JCT contracts and bespoke consultancy appointments
- Exposure to NEC, FIDIC, IChemE, construction management agreements and development/funding structures advantageous
- Projects experience across infrastructure, energy, PFI/PPP or operational assets beneficial but not essential
- Strong commercial drafting skills and the ability to manage transactional matters with appropriate autonomy
- Interest in legal technology and AI-driven delivery tools welcomed
